E-mail Password

E-mail addresses (usernames) for students at Muş Alparslan University are issued in the format “studentnumber@alparslan.edu.tr.”

Example: 999999999@alparslan.edu.tr

For staff, the username may vary, but usually in the form of the first letter of your name followed by your surname with a dot in-between.

After your e-mail address is created, you should receive a password as an SMS. If you don’t, or if you forget your password, you can reset it by clicking the following link: https://sifremiunuttum.alparslan.edu.tr/

1. Enter your student number (or username) in the “user name” (kullanici adi) section

2. Enter your 11-digit foreigner ID number in the “TR NO” (TC No) section

3. Then, enter the security code and accept the agreement

4. Click to send to my mobile

5. After completing the password reset process, you will receive an SMS with a new password. Make sure to write down this password or save it in a secure location, as you will need it to access your e-mail account and Eduroam.

6. If you don’t receive the SMS, then your phone number on the system may not be accurate, or may not have been in the system at all. Then, you need to speak with the IT office.
